Specialised anodes
Anodes for requirements outside the standard ranges — from iron and monitoring anodes to high-temperature, special-alloy and fully custom designs.

Iron, concrete, monitoring, temporary and custom anodes.
Some cathodic protection systems need an anode that doesn't fit a standard category: an iron anode for a copper-alloy heat exchanger, a monitoring anode for a concrete structure, or a special alloy for high-temperature service.
This range covers those requirements. If what you need isn't listed, send us the drawing or specification and we'll confirm what can be supplied.

-
G01
Soft Iron Anodes
Iron anodes for heat exchangers and condensers with copper-alloy tubes, where iron helps form a protective film on the tubes.
-
G02
Scrap Iron Anodes
Scrap steel used as a low-cost, consumable anode bed in impressed current groundbeds.
-
G03
Silicon Iron Anodes
Silicon iron anodes for impressed current groundbeds in soil and water.
-
G04
Galvanic Concrete Anodes
Zinc-based anodes for protecting reinforcement in new or repaired concrete.
-
G05
Retrofit Concrete Anodes
Anodes installed into existing concrete structures to slow ongoing reinforcement corrosion.
-
G06
Monitoring Anodes
Anodes installed to monitor current output and the performance of a CP system.
-
G07
Reference Anode Assemblies
Assemblies used alongside anodes and reference electrodes to measure structure potentials.
-
G08
Temporary Sacrificial Anodes
Anodes providing short-term protection during construction, storage, transport or commissioning.
-
G09
High Temperature Anodes
Anodes in alloys suited to warm and hot water service, where standard zinc is not recommended.
-
G10
Special Alloy Anodes
Anodes cast in special alloy compositions to meet a particular specification.
-

Common questions.
Why use iron anodes in heat exchangers?
Where tubes are copper alloys, iron anodes provide cathodic protection and release iron that helps form a protective film on the tube surfaces.
What is a temporary sacrificial anode?
An anode that protects steel for a limited period — for example, during construction or before a permanent CP system is commissioned.
Can you supply anodes for high-temperature water?
Yes. Zinc is not recommended above approximately 50 °C, so aluminium or magnesium alloys are normally supplied for warmer service.
Can you make an anode that isn't listed?
Yes. Send your drawing or specification and we will confirm materials, configuration and lead time.
